Energy Vampires

An interesting article I came across. http://www.drbrucegoldberg.com/EnergyVampires.htm

Seeking An Answer

First off, I''d just like to say I''m still researching Paganism rather than actually practicing it, but to learn I have to ask questions to get answers, so here is one that has been nagging at the back of my mind.

A Silly Song for Samhain/Halloween

This silly song is a great way to get your kids (or other adults) in the
mood for the Samhain season. Sing it along to the tune of the classic Twelve
Days of Christmas!
The Twelve Days of Samhain
On the first day of Samhain my true love gave to me
A black cat in a spooky tree.

On the second day of Samhain my true love gave to me
Two jack o lanterns and
A black cat in a spooky tree.

On the third day of Samhain my true love gave to me
Three crooked headstones,
Two jack o''lanterns and
A black cat in a spooky tree.

On the fourth day of Samhain my true love gave to me

Enchant your decorations!

From a Pagan Yahoo group:

Enchanted Halloween Decorations
10-6-09
Color of the day: Black
Incense of the day: Ylang-ylang

Ah October, the season of the Witch is here! Haul out your Samhain/Halloween decorations, but before you put them up, let''s enchant them for protection on this day that is sacred to Mars. The Samhain seasonal colors of orange and black are perfect for this spell. After all, black, red, and orange are Mars colors, too. Use this charm to put some real magic in your decorations this year!

PNO activities for Samhain, Halloween, and Day of the Dead

Next Pagans Night Out Meet-Up will be Sunday, October 25 at 4pm at Quintessential Mage. The theme will be the Mexican Day of the Dead, "Dia de los muertos" and also the Pagan holiday Samhain.

Then, on Saturday, October 31, we will host a Halloween Bash at QM, starting at 6pm.

Balance

From Lillah''s NE Pagans Yahoo Group:

Balance
9-22-09
Color of the day: Scarlet
Incense of the day: Basil

Today is the autumnal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere (Spring Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere), a time when day and night are equal in length. Today, focus on finding balance in your life in whatever areas you need it. Decorate your altar or other area, such as a mantle or shelf, with seasonal decorations and as you do so, concentrate on balancing the items equally on each side. Both sides don''t have to be identical, but they should feel balanced.

Mabon Celebration...

Hey all,

Just posting a quick note to let everyone know that we will not be able to attend today''s gathering. Ben has something that resembles the flu and I do not want to expose anyone to it...Lexie is not feeling great either.

I wish all a wonderful time and a great Mabon!

Love, Light, Laughter and Blessings,

Vickie
