Meditation on in-and-out breath:
The best of focus out of forty meditation objects, is the focus on in-and-out breath.
At its high level of practice, in-and-out breath meditation is a Vipassana meditation.
But, as a beginner, the in-and-out breath meditation is a Samatha meditation. That''s why in-and-out breath is a perfect meditation. It switches by itself from Samatha meditation to Vipassana meditation on it''s own as you progress in your practice.
How so????

After 32 years in prison Political Prisoner Leonard Peltier went before the Federal Parole Board on the 28th of July 2009. The Parole Board is expected to render their decision within the 2-3 weeks. Phone calls, faxes and letters are important and time is of the essence.

We will be meeting from 4-6pm at Quintessential Mage, 2914 County. Glenn will be doing a Multi-Dimensional Spiritual Drawing Workshop immediately following our Meet-up.
As usual, it will be voluntary potluck.
Our theme/topic will be "Art of the Soul" and we will have an open discussion, but steer it towards thoughts of the spirit, the soul, and the psyche.
